This cushion was made with caring hearts form my craft forum ladies. I made it at their suggestion for Haylee to go on her bed. I used 2 fabrics that were in the quilt that is also on her bed. This quilt was made from the blocks I received in the 2005 friendship block swap. I provided the feature fabric so each lady made a block that fitted into Haylee's colour scheme. I still have another 4 hearts so I am going to make a pillow case to match her quilt.

January's creations
I have had some time in January to do some sewing (this is quite a rare thing these days). This quilt was made for my Friend Andrea's birthday. Made from a Moda Tapestry Allspice jelly roll. This was first attempt at stipple quilting a complete quilt. I am very happy with how it turned out and she was very surprised by it.

Gail your work is just beautiful. this is something I am hoping to do a little more this year. So far my machine has mainly been used for sewing paper, but I plan to change that. I am meeting with a friend next Saturday to do our patchwork Christmas stockings for next year. Nothing like getting in early.
