Joy

This mornings devotion hit a chord with me as I don't believe I always live in the joy of Christ that I really should. I let things of this life rob me of the joy that God has assigned to me in Christ.

Joy is prayer. Joy is strength. Joy is love. Joy is a net of love by which you can catch souls. God loves a cheerful giver. One gives most who gives with joy. The best way to show our gratitude to God and people is to accept everything with joy. A joyful heart is the normal result of a heart burning with love. Never let anything so fill you with sorrow as to make you forget the joy of the Christ risen.

This I tell my sisters. This I tell to you. - Mother Theresa of Calcutta.

Hi Gail,
I too am a Christian. God forgives us and throws our sins in His lake of forgetfulness, and puts up a sign "No Fishing". I find that it is going fishing that robs me of the joy I should have.
Blessings, TrishJ
