Blogtoberfest day 12 - Outside my..................

While I was sitting at my computer (in my sewing room) trying to decide what today's post would be I looked out my window and it hit me that would be a great post. I am sooooo blessed to live on such a great property with such great views on all sides ( I still find myself eing very very thankful to God for this beautiful home and the way we came to have it).

So here goes.............................................................

Outside my SEWING ROOM window I can see part of our yard that backs onto the bridle path. On the other side of the bridle path is one of our neighbours home nestled amongthe trees. We have not yet met these neighbours and we have lived here for over 4 years now.

Outside my front door there is a large Green Goddess Calla Lilly. I love this plant. It always looks green and lush and I will often pick a few and put them in a vase just inside my front door.

Further outside my front door is my front yard and of course our picket fence. You cant really see it but outside the fence is our private driveway. We live off the end of a culdesac on 2 1/2 acres.

My backyard is very very large so today you just get a glimpse. This is my lettuce pot that is just outside my back door so its quick and easy to get to.

One view of our back yard from the back door..

And another view of our back yard more form the scrap room window.

So are you up to another challenge. What is outside your .....................................
Take some photos today and share on your blog. Don't forget to tell me you have and leave me a link to your blog post.
Have a great day all

Thanks for sharing the great views from your windows, Gail! We are on a very small block- not even a side drive- Garage at front of house. A fair bit of backyard is concrete, with just one side for garden. The previous Italian owners were very fond of concrete! :~). I would LOVE a big backyard.
