More card creations. How cute is this button tree card - I found it on Split Coast stampers. Once I started making them i couldn't stop at one or two so I made 4.

A few masculine cards.

I think I am just about there with my stash of cards. But am loving making thesecards using a Kaisercraft paper pad, so much I am likley to continue to make more. You never know I might just have to have some as a givaway.

These cards I made with a friend last Thursday - well she made her own cards and I made these.

I found a very similar card on Split coast stampers but it was too big for our size cards so we tweeked it to work.

The purple one will have a greeting added once I know who its for and for what occasion.

Don't forget to come back after noon tomorrow for the "Our Craft Froums" blog hop. Starting here in my blog. I am a bit excited.

June Bug cards

As Monday was a public holiday I decided to have a fun & relaxed day - so I watched 3 movies -Twilight, New Moon & Mao's Last Dancer, 2 episodes of River Cottage Autumn, cut out fabric for a swap and I also created these 11 cards using the quick quilting cards tutorial I talk about a few posts ago. I used Basic Greys June bug on these cards, a double PP, so there was so much choice when it came to putting the cards together. I love how bright these have turned out. This time I stamped some of the greeting as well as used ones i have printed.

Card making

Wednesday after lunch (& a wee bit for the house shopping - more on that later) Haylee & I spent some time in the scrap room creating. Haylee finished 4 or 5 8X8" Lo's (she lost count)and I started making cards.

5 of these cards -Praying for you, You make me smile, Smile, God loves you & Lotsa hugs - were made using this tutorial for quilted cards from Nina's blog Crafting in Croatia . I love how simple and quick these cards were. The other cards were using left over papers and a few different punches.

All cards were made with Basic grey patterned papers and all but 2 - Congrats and With Love - were made with BG's Sugared range including the die cut chipboard shapes.

The messages on the cards were simply made by typing up several messages and printing them on patterned papers.

I am really happy with how the cards turned out now all I need to do is remember to send some on.

In fact I owe a PIF (pay it forward) that I received from Cass's blog sometime ago (where did the time go) so the first 3 people who leave a comment on THIS post who are prepared to play along with the pay it forward scheme (you will need to make something to send onto someone else) will receive 4 of my cards. Please make sure you leave away for me to contact you.

Been making cards

As part of Haylee & my stash challenge I am trying to make cards from all the little left over bits of our scrap supplies. So each one of these cards has been made from the scrap drawers that we have. I also have a tin full of stamped images and a box of fussy cut shapes that I can draw from. The card box is looking pretty good now. I still would like to make quite a few more cards as I think a set of homemade cards makes a really nice gift.
