As some of you may be aware I belong to the Express magazines craft forum. As a member of that forum I run the caring harts group that sends packs of hearts to our ladies who need a hug. it may be for a celebration or to encourage them in hard times. I have put out a call this week to the ladies as I was getting a little disheartened and my call was heard. Today one of the ladies sent me 2 sets of hearts and a little pressie just for me. Isn't this bag just the cutest. J told me next time I go out to pop my cup and a bikkie in this little bag. Thanks J your thoughtfulness and encouragement made my day.made my day.

CARING HEARTS

If you are a regular reader of my blog you will hear me talk of these caring hearts a bit. What are they - they are hearts made by ladies on my craft forum to be given to our ladies when they need a group hug.

I put this quilt together from 3 sets of hearts to be sent to Kelly in Victoria to quilt and then to pass on to a fire victim family. The hearts in this quilt were to be sent to a family of one of our forum girls but she requested instead that I turn them into a quilt to give to other fire victims.

This swag I have only finished just recently was made from a set of hearts sent to me in 2006 before I took over being the "keeper of the hearts".
