We have now planted out almost 5 of our 6 garden beds. it's so exciting to go out each day to see a few more onions standing up straight or an extra set of leaves on the tomatoes and I can't tell you how exciting it is to see a garlic, bean or pea sprout through the dirt.

The first three pictures are of o
ur onion beds. The first is our garlic peeking
through. The 2
nd photo is the onion bed b4 mulching (has a light straw covering) and the 3rd photo is it tucked up in its sugar cane coat.
These are our
brasicas waiting to be planted & the bed after planting .
Our
zucchini,
cucumber and eggplant bed covered in a net
Cage to keep out the birds.

Our legume & lettuce bed. There are
afew peas & beans sprouts just poking through but you couldn't see them in a
piccy so I deleted it.
blogger was not very co operative during this post so i hope the photo is with its appropriate explanation.

Your vegie patch is looking good and sounds like you will be self sufficient when it takes off.
Nothing nicer than home grown vegies. :)
