blogtoberfest day 19 - more aprons

This blue apron was made for my nephews 8th birthday yesterday. He told me on FB yesterday that he has already worn it when he helped his mum cook nachos for dinner. I added a large pocket with separate areas to the pattern as kids need places to put things.
i didn't have any kiddy fabric suitable for his age so I used the fabric I used on the reversible aprons. I was very happy with how it turned out.

These are the aprons I made for the twins 2nd birthday on Sunday. A Bob the builder for Jackson & a Dora the Explorer for Isabella.

Lovely aprons, Gail! The little ones will be over the moon with their special aprons. I love that fabric that has the mealtimes printed on it, Too! :-)

Cool aprons!
My girls (who are twins btw!) have the same aprons that their Nanna June made them out of stripy tea towels a few years back, they wont part with them!

You are a woman after my own heart!! I love aprons and have been dreaming of making some for months now. I just can't figure out which fabric to use to make them out of. Do you have any suggestions? Loving the Bob and Dora ones!
