My daughter Haylee & I are on holidays in NEw Zealand. We arrived in Aukland on Tuesday night. Spent tow night there and met up with our tour on Wednesday night. We left Auckland Thursday morning. We spent two night s in Rotorua. Visit Te Paua ( Maori cultural centre and thermal reserve) Waitomo glow worm caves, agrodome, paradise valley and the Polynesian spa.

Made our way down to wellington yesterday where we had a visit to tothe museum. We met up with a SOF friend, Bev.

This morning we left Wellington, crossed the cook strait on the ferry and are now in Christchurch. Tomorrow we go across on the Trans Alpine train and start heading down the west coast.

Thats all the time I have for now. Will be back to update in a few days time.

Hi Gail, Have a great time in NZ - you went to my home town, Wellington -glad you enjoyed Te Papa, the museum. Hope Christchurch is kind weather wise for you - enjoy the West Coast. It makes me a bit homesick - but I'm going to NZ late February/March. Take care, Love Donna (Domac from the Craft Forum).

Thank you for your piccies, Gail. brought back memories of NZ, we were there in 1996. Did a slightly different tour though. I bought jade at arrowtown, and we stayed at with a host at Rotorua.
