ABout time

Yes I know its about time I updated my blogg. No excuses I have just been slack.

So what have I been doing. Getting over Christmas. Work was just so busy I was exhausted, it has really settled down back to normal routine now. I have had several days off work in the last few weeks so I went out of my way to relax.

The first week I went of to Bowral to meet up with Lou & Ros, forum buddies. It was my first time meeting Ros and would you believe our Dh's worked together in 1978 at 2WS, Radion station in Blacktown. What a small world. We had a day of shopping and then we spent the evning pampering each other with facials and pedicures. It was night to sit and chat and be pampered.

The second week I took myself down to my sisters at Vincentia and have a nice relaxing time there as well. I only had to cook their dinner and nothing else, it was bliss. On the 2nd night I gave Davina a pampering night. A facial while her feet were soaking in a foot spa, then a foot and hand massage all followed by dessert.

I have been involved in a 20 stash challnege with my scrapbooking forum. tHat meant I had to complete 20projects without buying anything, all out of my stash. I have only 4 itme to go and I'm finished. Will be doing those today. Will post a piccy of some of my completed projects.

I have also completed the centre of my medallion quilt which will be part of a Round robin with my quilting forum. I am really happy with my appliqued centre.

During this week(Wednesday) I have had my 43rd birhtday and I got spoilt rotten as usual, including gift vouchers for:- Solar SPrings - my Health retreat/Spa at Bundanoon, Jukejema the best quilting shop& Ella Bache for a facial. I also received choccies, kitchen knife set and chopping board and lots of other things.

I also became a great aunt for the 6th time onthe 19 January, Dominic Jaymz. He is just so gorgeous.

Well thats what I have been up to. i will try not to leave it so long next time.

Tata for now.

Sounds like you have had a full on week Gail. Your patchwork quilt piece is looking lovely. What a great idea and how treasured will that be when you get it back.
So pleased to hear you got spoilt for you birthday too.

Hi Gail!

Wow looks like you've been busy! Your scrapping and quilting projects are looking fantastic! The 20 projects challenge must be taking ages with only OTP projects but I'm sure it is well worth it. Can't wait to see the last four!

Katie :)
