It has been a year of ups and downs. Knee operations, Seriously ill brother, 2 amazing scrap retreats, birth of great niece & nephew (twins), death of MIL. WOW how does that all fit in one year (not to mention the everyday gongs on of life). Maybe that's why I feel so exhausted at the moment. Or is it simply that there is so much going on right NOW!!!!!!
The last few weeks at work have been HECTIC. We had 2 - not 1 but 2 -author signings on one day. We had Shannon Lush in the Library at 10am followed hotly by Macca at 12.30 ouside the shop. I am the special events girls at work so these are my babies. Unfortunately I forgot my camera so I have no pics to share with you. I had a great time - Shannon Lush is just sooooo amazing and I always love spending time with Macca.
Before I tell you what I have been doing craft wise I am going to share the RAk that Unicorn won back in October.
One of my altered tins filled with lots of lovely things in her favorite colours purple & Pink. Have fun playing Unicorn.
Yesterday I received this lovely Quilters journal as a total surprise from Barb form the craft forum. Thanks Barb I love it so much. So pretty and girly. Will be put to good use next year.
After sitting in a box among my stash for years today I decided to turn a few of the Christmas blocks I won a few years ago in a block lotto run by Sharyn in the craft forum into cushions. these have replaced the everyday cushions I had on the lounge.
So I think thats it for me for now. I will try not to leave it so long next time.
