Easter Blessings, faith swap and more mini albums

Happy Easter all. May you be blessed as you spend time with your family and friends remembering the great sacrifice God gave us in Jesus' death. He died for the sins of the whole world. SO we can have a relationship with him. I am very thankful that he loved me enough to die for me.

This quilt has been 8 years in the making. I decided in a moment of weakness that it needed t be hand quilted - which has taken me 4 years to complete. It is now hanging on the railing as you enter my loungeroom.

Haylee & I made this Easter tree this morning and it is the centre piece of our dining table this Easter.

This beautiful cushion was made for me by Trsih in a "Faith" mini swap. I made the "Faith" mini album for Allison.

I started making these circle mini albums for Haylee & Royce at last years SWS retreat and finished them in Early Feb this year. Very happy with how they both turned out. I am loving mini albums at the mo and plan to make lots more.

Grattitude Album

Last November Haylee & I attended Lusi Austin's grattitude mini album class a the Penrith Paper festival. I hanve now finally finished my album. I had so much fun with this. Trying new techniques & added a few Lusism's. I loved discovering things I could do as I went. Tansparencies to add an extra small page for a little pic or even adhering photo's back to back to make an extra page. This was a fabulous journey for me to try new things but to also think about the everyday things we take for granted and taking the time to thank God for them.

Thank you Lusi for a fabulous class.

Fabulous day

Had a lovely day yesterday. It did start with doing the Aldi shop which means putting groceries away when I got home, I dont like putting groceries away.

Then Haylee & I picked up Erin & Mark (niece & nephew) and drove to Berry for Banoffe Pie. YUMMMM. We walked around the shops, as you do in Berry. Mark was very excited to pick up some bargains In Haven & Space. I came home without buying anything, now thats a rarity. We even ran into Cathy & Jane in a shop we had never seen b4.

When we arrived home Andrea, Camille, Lucca & Remy were waiting for us for the dogs to have a play together. I had also bought a piece of Banoffee Pie home for ANdrea to try. So we had coffee & Pie while the dogs played.

How cute is this pic of Remy and ZIggy tugging on the old sock. They just love playing together. They tumble and Remmy runs after Ziggy. But Ziggy drewn theline at Remy laying on anyof the big pillows in his room.

Heres Haylee and I with all 4 dogs. Lucca, Ziggy, Hamish and Remy.

Andrea & I just happened to wear matching green shirts.

Finally have re-upooaded and re-installed all the programes on my puter so I was able to start on my SOF project instructions after Andrea left.

The day ended with Scrap of Faiths Live prayer time in MSN. I was only joined by 2 ladies but it was a nice time of Praise and prayer.

Our talented Design team will also keep you challenged with their wonderful articles. We have a link to daily devotions as well as a verse of the day.

I haven't forgotten you!!!!!!!!

Really I havent. Life has been hectic, but I couldnt tell you what I have been doing. Our computer has not been behaving itself an had a major meltdown last week and had to be rebuilt.

So now its back and have spent half of this week re-uploading and reinstalling programes so I an do what I do on my putey.

I have a few pics I wanted to share with you. the first is a rare thing for me to see and that is a sunrise. I AM NOT a morning person but have been getting up at 6am to have my quiet time and lately I have been beating the sun.

I sit in our sunroom and gaze out onto Gods playground. Just love the view from my sunroom.

This quilt has been around Australia and back. It started just as the small diamond of appliqued flwoers in the cream fabric and has been built borber by border by my friends at the Craft Forum. I have yet to have it quilted and then it is going to live on this bed in the spare room.

This is the latest display I have done for work and it is for another display comp. It wasnt originally we were just putting up this display for the Peter Rabitt giveaway, but we discovered on the day I was putting it up that there was a comp.

Haylee & Iwent to Shellharbour on Thursday and on the way home we were stopped at road works right next to these gorgeous trees. So I hung out the window and took some pics. Haylee told me I looked like a Japanese tourist.
