Caring hearts quilt

The ladies of the caring hearts club in my on line craft forum made this quilt for one of our very special ladies who needed a group hug.

Lots of love went into this quilt and I know she felt everyone of those 63 hugs.

The ladies in my bible study quilting group all wanted to take it home but it had a very special home waiting for it.It now has pride of place across a sofa.

Shaggy Quilt

This is another project I have completed recently. Its a flannel shaggy quilt and it is the cuddliest quilt ever. Love the bright strong colours. It look great on the lounge and even looks better with me snuggled up inside.

Heading over to the theatre shortly to see if there is anything to be done. Then off to work.

UFO completed.

I made the top if this quilt many years ago at a mystery quilt weekend. Have finally got around to having it quilted. Finished the binding and now am using it all the time. I call it my garden of sunshine. It is made in very cosy flannel.

Lunch Pail

Last month my niece, SIL and I went to Jindyandy Scrapbooking to learn how to make an altered Lunch Pail. I have been wanting to try an OTP as I have about 10 old biscuit tins to alter. we had a great night and the tins that were made were fantastic. I love mine. It has inpsired me and I have now altered a very large tin for my ric rac and 2 small tins for buttons.

It has been a very long time since my last post and lots has been happening here.

Last month I met up with a craft forum buddy NR. We had a lovley day in Berry. She was my partner in the mystery swap so I gave her my gift - a mini wallhanging "Bearmaker lives here", you guessed it she makes bears, some very very little ones. She also makes great buttons from shrinky dinks and I scored 6 of them.

We had a great afternoon tea of Bonoffi Pie and milksake/hot choccy and wandered around Berry looking at the fabulous shops.
